“Sound,” says Kailash Kokopelli in his vevelty voice,” is the essence of creation. Everything has a song. If we tune into that song, we can come into resonance and understand the sacred laws and essence of all things. All of creation is energy on different levels of vibration or frequency. That frequency is known as sound.”

Kailash is a renowned international sound therapist and sacred world musician.  Born in Germany he travelled a unique path from the age of 13 when he left home after a calling to his spiritual tribe: the indigenous people and wisdom keepers of the earth. Over time he learned the craft of combining sound with pure intention and became an instrument for healing sound medicine.  ”Since my early childhood my flute has been my prayer tool to commune and communicate with source” he smiles.

“Whenever I played my flute the wind would come and whisper wisdom into me allowing me to see behind the veils.” On his fleeting visit to South Africa, Kailash demonstrates his magic surrounded by candles, deep crystal singing bowls, medicine drums, spirit chants, prayer flutes, didgeridoo and devotional  heart-songs carried by his magical strings of the worldstick. The effect is hypnotic, soulful and uplifting. It is easy to understand his claims that music can transform, unblock and heal and that he has successfully treated people for cancer, depression and serious illnesses. Sound is energy and when intuitively assessed, it has the power to cleanse the emotional, mental, astral and physical body.

Kailash, with his quiet grace and flowing hair, has studied and captured this power. His use of vibrations and frequencies to heal is authentic because there is no ego, commercial intent or self promotion. When he plays he says he steps aside in order to be used as an instrument for self healing and a conduit to channel a higher divine energy. “I offer my prayers and my breath,” he says. “I am not interested to entertain, when I step aside I become the instrument myself. Then there is the space for grace and the great mystery to play through me.” Kailash is facilitating sacred time and space where we can come into communion with the inner source. There all healing is happening and all wisdom & guidance can be found.
