Food
Please let us know if you would be willing to be a Kitchen angel! and help co-ordinate one or two meals : )
To keep prices down we have decided on a “bring and communally prepare and share” – yummy healthy vegetarian food with a focus on raw food.
We ask that everyone volunteer to help prepare at least one meal, and we are also looking for kitchen angels to help co-ordinate a meal and volunteers in the kitchen. We need at least one person to play the role of co-ordinating kitchen angel for each meal. The universe will bless you with bliss and a year of a happy tummy for your blessed contribution.
Anyone with fancy equipment – industrial blenders, smoothie makers, spiral raw food pasta makers, as well as large bowls, pots etc – please bring along.
HOW MUCH FOOD SHOULD I BRING?
Bring generously. Enough food to feed you and your family for the whole weekend. The food is going to be prepared communally, so bring boxes of fruit/veg/ and big packets of nuts, seeds, lentils, pulses, rice, dates, superfoods etc. Please bring your own tea/coffee items.
WHAT FOOD SHOULD I BRING?
Fresh and delicious ingredients to make yummy vegetarian meals (with a raw focus). Boxes of fruit, salad and vegetables. lentils/pulses, rice, nuts, seeds, raisins, dates, sprouts, tahini etc.
The more yummy food you bring, the more deliciousness there will be for us to all share. We are placing our trust in god, the universe and your generosity that there will be a good variety of delicious healthy food to create amazing meals.
Our focus is going to be on raw foods, however, we still envision having some cooked grains and pulses, roasted butternut and potatoes on the fire etc.
Below is a list of some of the food items that make up our ideal shopping list with items for you to choose from. Let your intuition guide you with what to bring…(we are currently in communication with angels who will be whispering in your ear when you do your shopping : ))!

WHY DO I HAVE TO BRING FOOD, CANT I BUY IT THERE?
In order to make the event as non-commercial as possible, we have decided to create a communal kitchen, rather than support stalls or vendors. This brings down costs for you, and also enables us to enter into a beautiful co-creation in the kitchen.
KITCHEN AWARENESS
Food is love and consciousness!
In the kitchen we will prepare food with our full love and awareness – chanting, singing, laughing and loving will be encouraged in the kitchen space : )! Everyone will take a turn to help with food preparation.
Thank you to the beautiful angels who have already volunteered to help co-ordinate meals. If any one else would like to play this role, please contact us. You will be blissed and blessed for your loving service : ).
