Hey everyone, I’m trying out this neat new facebook gallery plugin on the site to show Ashleigh how cool it is to get people’s pictures of the gathering on to the site.

And I started with my new friend, Adriana’s album. I think these pics are too gorgeous, and Blue Hippo is looking very lush and green and beautiful. Different from the last time I was there, when it was brown and dry and beautiful :-)

Trading hour

We will have time after lunch to trade goods. Last time we had seeds, moon-calenders, ringing cedars books, kailash’s cds’ etc. so if you have home-made crafts or hand-made clothes etc that you would like to bring, then bring a blankie to lay out your stuff.

Our amazing garden has beans, spinach and marrows, and some lettuce and rocket. Anyone know how to cook calabash?

the nights are nippy! please bring lots of warm stuff to keep you happy!! blankies, hot water bottles, thermal underwear!!
Those who are in a tipi can make a fire inside.

Weekend April 30th – May 2 – Blue Hippo, Greyton

Join us for a weekend of song, dance, harvesting, gardening, learning, visioning, prayer, thanksgiving and celebration as we ready ourselves to turn inwards to embrace the mysteries and hidden gifts of the darkness. Our focus will be on the garden, and giving thanks for the blessings of the harvest.

Once again, this will be a co-created space in nature …we eat, talk, dance, play, share, create, vision and workshop together, and all offer our unique skills and magic to the space. Performers, musicians, fire dancers, dreamers, gardeners, dancers,healers, teachers all welcome!

Friday night will be opening circle and a ritual of thanksgiving and fire ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Harvest festival.

Saturday night will be a Harvest Ball where we dress up in Autumn colours as nature spirits to play, feast, dance, play music and make merry around the bonfires. Please bring your instruments, voices and bare feet in the spirit of co-creation.

The first Space of Love gathering in South Africa took place early February this year. This was a wholly co-created event inspired by Anastasia and the Ringing Cedar series. The intentions were to create a safe, harmonious space in which people of all colours and creeds could come together in unity & celebration of life. An experiment in temporary community, in order to taste a way of life that is lived in close communion with nature and one another as true brothers and sisters.

The gathering spun over a weekend and was hosted by the Blue Hippo Tipi Village in Greyton. This is the home of many an ancient Oak, majestic horses, a beautiful lake, an array of magical plant- and wildlife, as well as a handfull of ancient souls…two of these being the lovely ladies who seeded the event.

The Anastasia Foundation is announcing the first International Ringing Cedars Festival, which will take place in Moscow on March 27, 2010 from 10am to 9pm at the CSRA Football Hall which can hold 4000 people.

Our first Space of Love Gathering in South Africa, held at the Blue Hippo in Greyton, and what a truly magical weekend. Words can hardly express the magic felt during this time. It felt like a lifetime of real-ness.. beyond ego, beyond separation and difference, and toward something bigger than us..

We chopped, cooked and ate together. We prayed, sang and danced together. We workshopped, shared, healed and laughed together. We sweated, told stories, talked about community and education, and planted a magnificent permaculture garden together.
