We are looking at re-purposing our nascent ecovillage. We are on 43 acres (17 hectares) with two streams and 30 acres (12 hectares) of cleared, irrigated fields. I think we have a good beginning on the steps: (0) we are trying to clean up this site, (1) we think this site is IDEAL, (2) we are planning a housing complex on 2.6 acres (1 hectare), (3) we’ve erected 2,400 feet of deer fence, and have planted 250 willows to weave together as they grow into a “green screen”, and (4) have planted a garden.
