~ Join us for a co-created weekend Gathering at the Rainbow Homestead! ~
Eco-activities for learning by doing:
- Building a compost heap
- Building with cob (bath area?)
- Kiddie eco-activities
Workshops & Discussions include:
- Natural healing with herbs
- The Ecovillage movement
- Environmental Education resources for parents and kids
- Open slots for people to offer to share skills & knowledge
- Seed swap—bring your favourite seeds to share
- Clothes swap—bring a few bits of clothing to give and receive new ones
- Bring and share lunch both days
- Stone soup dinner (bring a veg to put in poijtie)
- Bonfire and music from sunset (bring fire toys and instruments)
- Bring a tent for camping—there are hot showers and a camp kitchen
- The terrain is great for mountain biking and hiking
Rainbow values are:
everyone is a participant, take out the rubbish you create, give generously, leave a light eco-footprint, cooperation, no drugs or alcohol, speak kindly, listen with your heart, no electronics
Directions:
From the N3 south take the Howick exit #107 Howick/Tweedie. Go left (away from Howick). At the T, go right onto the R103. Go 5km and turn left onto the Dargle/Impendle Rd. Go 28km. Turn right onto the D710. Continue 4km to the last gate.

Space of Love ~ Music of the HeartWe danced and sang. Had conversations about community, conscious relationship and healthy eating. Kailash Kokopelli took us on a magical musical sound journey and shared with us his precious heartsongs. We had shamanzi sharing their gifts, as well as Douwe, Rein, Ian, Daniel, Vernon and Philippa taking the children on magical playful musical adventures using original play, story telling and sound journey. We ate like kings!! (thank you Ian, Ingwe and Sonica and all the other kitchen angels!), and shared our own songs around the fire.. And so many more special gifts shared during this time.. Thank you everyone for being there and helping co-create this weekend into the experience it was. We look forward to the next one :-) Watch this space! Oh, and we would love to hear from you! Space of Lover ~ Music of the Heart: A sweet soul exploration through sound. Space of love is a very special co-created gathering where we all come together to share our unique gifts and create the space in a way that rings true to the rhythms of our spirits and mother earth.
What to bring to Space of Love…
Space of Love is just around the corner! Please take note to bring the following..
- bowl and spoon!!
- water – the water on the farm is unpallatable this time of year
- food- Bring generously. Enough food to feed you and your family for the whole weekend. The food is going to be prepared communally, so bring boxes of fruit/veg/ and big packets of nuts, seeds, lentils, pulses, rice, dates, superfoods etc. Please bring your own tea/coffee items.
- Fruit: pineapple, watermelon, bananas, peaches, mangoes, apples, nectarines, grapes
- Vegetables: Carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, butternut, onions, garlic, ginger, broccoli, sweetcorn, green pepper, red pepper, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, celery, avocado, baby marrow
- Nut and Seeds: all nuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds
- Pulses and grains: Oats, rice, lentils, chickpeas, mungbeans
- Oils: Olive oil, coconut oil
- Superfoods: Raw cacao, coconut oil
- Misc: honey, dates, tahini, tamari, himalayan salt, spices, jaggery
- Sprouts: Feel free to bring lots of yummy already sprouted sprouts : )

Offerings update for this weekend :-)!!!
Hello Lovelies 
Just want to give you an update on what the offerings are so far for this weekend – more still to be finalised this week!
We have a beautiful program with the focus on music and there have also been many offerings for children. Remember children under 5 are free and 17 and below only R100.
Music of the Heart: Offerings!
Hello Beloveds
Beautiful brother, Kailash Kokopelli, sound-medicine man and wizard of sacred soundscapes, will be joining us from Sweden at the Space Of Love: Music of the Heart Festival. He will be offering Kaichimo, Devotional Heart Songs and Dragon Tales.
David and Lauren of Shamanzi will also be offering spectacular music and performances, as will the local Greyton reggae band. Other magical offerings include Shamanic Munay Ku Rites, Mandala Magic, Devotional Heart Songs, Celtic Fairy Tales, Children’s Sound journeys ,Songs and dances of Universal Peace, Kundalini Yoga and much more! And of course there will be yummy organic gardening, raw foods and deep earth connection!
We would like to create a sacred communal sound journey around the fire so please be sure to bring drums, guitars, shakers, voices, bodies and any other instruments! Also we will be having an open mic event on our sound stage so prepare your songs poetry stories and other performances! If there are any other events, performances or workshops you would like to offer to the space please email Annwenmazetti@gmail.com soon to ensure a space on our schedule.
